Diminished thought capacity

It seems, as a nation, our capacity to carry complex bits of information is so diminished that we can only hold in our minds CONCLUSIONS. When questioned in an exchage of alternate conclusions, we simply Google to find support having lost contact with our own methods of arriving at said conclusion.
